We treat minor wounds at the practice and explain ongoing care.

What to expect

We assess the wound and discuss the necessary treatment and ongoing care. If needed, we arrange a follow-up appointment and determine whether additional treatment is required.

Assessing wounds carefully

A wound's cause, possible contamination and healing progress matter alongside its size and depth. Please tell us particularly about blood-thinning medication and bring your vaccination record if possible.

Supporting healing

We discuss cleaning, treatment and necessary follow-up checks, including whether further measures or specialist treatment are needed. Increasing redness, swelling, pain or fever should be assessed again by a doctor.

Before your appointment

Please bring existing medical reports and an up-to-date medication list. We discuss any special preparation, the exact scope and possible costs when arranging your appointment.
