Therapeutischer Massagesessel

Regular sessions · approximately 20 minutes

Sit back comfortably and enjoy a quiet break in our therapeutic massage chair. Therapy consists of regular sessions lasting approximately 20 minutes each. We will agree the appointment schedule with you.

Self-pay service

Treatment in the massage chair is a self-pay service. Sessions are billed privately. We will explain the costs before you start so you can make an informed decision.

Who may consider treatment?

Muscle tension in the neck, shoulders or back, or a wish to relax and reduce stress, may prompt a consultation. Complementary use after exercise or during rehabilitation can also be discussed. For tension headaches or restricted movement, we first assess the symptoms. Goals such as relaxing muscles or encouraging circulation are discussed individually; a specific effect is not guaranteed.

Do not use the chair with acute risks

Do not use the chair before medical clearance if you have acute injuries such as fractures or muscle tears, recent surgery, acute inflammation of joints, muscles or skin, or open wounds. This also applies to thrombosis or a high risk of thrombosis, severe cardiovascular disease such as heart failure or angina, a recent heart attack or slipped disc, or severe osteoporosis. Medical clearance and compliance with the manufacturer's safety instructions are required; use may remain unsuitable.

Pregnancy, skin conditions and cancer

During pregnancy, particularly in the first trimester, or with severe skin disease or cancer, our practice does not provide treatment without prior medical assessment and explicit clearance for this massage chair. We consider your treatment and the device manufacturer's instructions. Clearance for other forms of massage does not automatically mean the chair is suitable.

Only after medical consultation

Please consult us before use if you have high or low blood pressure, nerve damage such as diabetic polyneuropathy, varicose veins, narrowed arteries such as peripheral arterial disease, or recent bruising or contusions. Implanted or body-worn devices such as pacemakers or insulin pumps also require prior assessment. Whether and how treatment is possible depends on your circumstances and the manufacturer's safety instructions.
