Focusing on your symptoms

With acute symptoms, the onset, duration, triggers and changes are particularly important. Tell us about existing conditions and regular medication. A physical examination helps us assess the problem and plan appropriate care.

What follows the examination

Depending on the findings, advice and a follow-up appointment may be enough; sometimes further tests or specialist treatment are needed. We explain the next steps and what to watch for. For life-threatening symptoms such as severe breathlessness or severe acute chest pain, call 112.

Before your appointment

Please bring existing medical reports and an up-to-date medication list. We discuss any special preparation, the exact scope and possible costs when arranging your appointment.
